No Child Should Learn on an Empty Stomach.
From the Mountains of Nepal, a Movement of Compassion Rises.
Our Story
Project RUPA and the story behind
Blisstifood Nepal is a charitable organization committed to supporting children in Nepal’s remote mountain schools by providing them with nutritious, plant-based meals to fuel their learning and growth.
Our journey began on 20 May 2024 with the launch of Project Rupa — a lifelong dream of Rupa, co-founded with her husband Bhabindra and daughter Raika. Rupa envisioned a world where every child, no matter how isolated their school, would have access to healthy food to support both their education and physical well-being.
Following Rupa’s tragic passing, her dream lives on through Blisstifood Nepal, in collaboration with Blisstifood Malaysia. Every meal we serve carries forward Rupa’s passion, compassion, and hope for a healthier, brighter future for Nepal’s children.
At Blisstifood Nepal, our mission is to provide the most nutritious, plant-based meals to students in remote mountain schools across Nepal, supporting their educational journey and physical development. We exist because too many children face the challenge of learning on an empty stomach, especially in mountain communities where access to healthy food is limited. Our goal is to break this cycle of hunger by ensuring every child in these remote areas receives the nourishment they need to grow, thrive, and reach their full potential — building a brighter future, one meal at a time.
