We use your information to process and record donations, issue acknowledgements, respond to enquiries, manage recurring donations, handle cancellations and refund requests, and coordinate activities you have asked to participate in.
We also use information where reasonably necessary to maintain our accounts, prevent fraud, protect our website and meet applicable legal and reporting requirements.
If you choose to receive news or fundraising updates, we use your contact details to send those messages. You may ask us to stop at any time by contacting us using the details below. We may still send necessary messages about an existing donation, refund or other administrative matter.
Required and optional information
Fields marked as required are needed to handle the relevant request or transaction. If you do not provide this information, we may be unable to process your donation, issue an acknowledgement or respond to your request. Other information is optional.
Payment information
Online payments are processed by the payment provider identified during checkout. The provider collects the payment information needed to complete your transaction and handles that information under its own privacy policy.
We receive transaction information needed to confirm and manage your donation, such as the payment reference, amount and payment status. Please do not send us full card details, passwords or one-time verification codes by email, contact form or WhatsApp.
Who we share your information with
Where reasonably necessary, we share information with payment providers and banks, website hosting and IT providers, communication service providers, and authorised staff, volunteers or professional advisers who need it for their work. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law.
We do not sell or rent donor personal information. We will ask for your permission before publicly identifying you as a donor or publishing a testimonial attributed to you.
